OK, so there is my SMART 30 day goal. My long term goal as well. The part of the 30 day goal says it is not only important to understand the WHAT (that being the goal) but also the HOW. What steps to take to get to the goal each day. The book suggests asking questions each day:
What can I do today to move me closer to my goal of...?
What can I do right now to move me closer to my goal of...?
He suggests 3 action items to be writter under each question. And the biggest item is that these all need to be journaled, so I would like this to be my daily journal.
What can I do TODAY to move me closer to my goal of 145lbs by January 31st?
- go to sleep before 10pm
- drink a glass of water-done
- get clean bras out of the laundry room to ensure I can exercise tomorrow-done
- Take the pills that I bought a few days ago-prepared for tomorrow
- drink a glass of water-done
- stop typing to get to it-done
